Mr Dennis Thornhill

1931 - 2026

Dennis sadly passed away at Royal Bolton Hospital on the 20th of July 2026 age 95 years. Dennis was a loving dad, a special grandad , great grandad, brother and a good friend to many. He will be greatly missed. The funeral service will take place at Howe Bridge Crematorium on Monday the 24th August 2026 at 11:30am. Following the service the family invites everyone to join them at Westhoughton Cricket Club for refreshments and to continue sharing memories of Dennis. Donations if desired in memory of Dennis for Destitute Animals Shelter, Bolton.

"My Uncle Dennis, What fantastic memories I have, being snowed in at Uncle Dennis and Aunty Kays house for an extra long weekend. Taking us fishing, running through the woods with the dog, riding old motorbikes and flying model planes around the field. Loved those days! I have missed you from afar all these years.
